Our 51" Polyback Sports Twill comes pre-coated with a thermal adhesive (P600 1.5-Mil backing) that stabilizes the fabric by locking in the twill fibers, making it easier to cut and position during application. This polyester-based adhesive is PVC-free and works smoothly with a wide range of cutting tools—including plotters, laser cutters, die presses, and even scissors. While the adhesive allows for temporary placement with a heat press, the twill must be stitched down to ensure long-term durability and prevent fraying. We stock Sports Twill with multiple adhesive options, including PSA Twill, Permanent, and PSA Permanent. Our “Polyback” option refers to a lightweight, low-tack adhesive backing—also known in the industry as “Heat Seal” or “Poly Twill”—and is a direct competitor to Stahls’ CAD-CUT® Poly-TWILL.
