Permanent Sports Felt is available in limited colors. Colors not available can be run with permanent adhesive as needed. The minimum quantity for on-demand lamination is 50 yards per color. PSA Permanent Sports Felt is always available, should you need a small quantity for your job.
Permanent Sports Felt is a heat seal product designed to be laser-cut and heat-pressed onto garments without sewing. Similar to PSA Permanent except it does not have the peel-and-stick component. Its thick, 5-Mil non-PVC adhesive will not burn from laser cutting while it simultaneously prevents fraying. Excellent for pre-aligned names and designs when used with Heat Transfer Tapes. Light colors tend to show smoke from your laser. Adjusting laser settings can alleviate this problem.
Application Instructions
Recommended for use with the following fabrics: Acrylics, 100% Cotton, Polyester Knits (not Mesh), 100% Polyester, Poly-Cotton Blends, Poly Form and Cotton Caps.
- Temperature: 340°F
- Time: 20 seconds
- Pressure: Firm
- Peel: N/A
HINT: Run a lint roller over the transfer area (on the garment) to remove any loose threads or stray fibers. Preheat your garment for 5 seconds. Place the transfer onto the garment, then place a cover sheet over the design. Time, temperature and pressure may vary if using an iron instead of a heat press machine.
